James D. Davis, DPM

Description

Dr. James Davis is a foot & ankle surgeon in North Denver. He graduated as valedictorian from California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996. He and his wife moved to Denver, Colorado for residency training and he joined what was then Community Foot and Ankle Clinics, in 1999. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive/Ankle Surgery. Dr. Davis has extensive experience in all aspects of foot and ankle care and treatment. In addition, he has emphasis in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle and has completed training courses in Kurgan, Russia, and Verona, Italy, for the utilization of external fixation. Dr. Davis believes in treating his patients and their families as he would like to be treated, and encourages his patients to take an active roll in their treatment."I believe that the patient needs to be an active participant in the healing process. I feel that the patient, their family, and work environment all contribute to their overall well being and greatly effect outcomes. I feel that my job is to provide the patient with their varying options and then work with them to coordinate a comprehensive individualized care plan that is specifically designed for their situation."In his spare time Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, restoring vintage automobiles, riding dirt bikes and fly fishing.
